Thrilled to add a second wine from Marino Lanzini to the list, his pure expressions of the Nebbiolo grape, grown on the terraced mountainsides of Valtellina are far and away our favourite bottles from the region. A beautiful vintage, mellowed by 24 months in barrels, is intense on the nose and palate - ripe red berries, Italian herbs and fine tannins. This wine is drinking wonderfully now, but can age for sure. Pair with meat lasagne, aged (Italian) cheeses, and mushroom dishes!
